Had a great set of shows this past week! One of them was Pit Crew (Presented by Intel), which was a whimsical take on the "pros vs amateurs" trope. Pros got nerfed by hardware downgrades & 'discomforts' each round, while amateurs got hardware upgrades & pamperings.

I was the replay operator for the show, so I got to cut the fun highlights to review each round, as well as a day pack for rollout of all the shenanigans (what you see here).

Last night's of for Tech Talk ThursPlays frustrated me to no end.

It wasn't because I wasn't having fun with the gameplay.

It was because I had people come to the stream and bouncing because the stream was super choppy.

While I had tested the game on stream before, I forgot that I was only playing BL3 with running.

This still gave me so much anxiety that something wasn't working properly or that people weren't going to enjoy the stream.

@thor there was a couple I came across that were built in pandemic for folks to virtually jam with but none were quite what I was after.

I am mostly after a version of something like zencastr to record local source and a mixed version server side for podcast recording.

I do have a license and vmix call but want to keep the tools used for @acrossthefediverse entirely FOSS and the content all fedi-first hosted.
