I new they did some questionable design decision before, but oh boy did I not consider how wild it actually is.

They only mention VMware Tools for Windows and Linux... but i mean, all their virtual appliances have VMware Tools installed, am i supposed to update the Tools within the appliance by myself?

30 followers · 611 posts · Server ohbear.wtfWell, well, well. It looks like the free, personal-use license program is still in place. Any home user can file for a zero-cost #VMware Fusion Player license, which is just about all I need. Good thing I didn't rush to give my old employer money.
You almost had me, but I haven't forgotten everything from my time inside the beast!

Even with upgrade discounts, the bargain-basement version of Fusion is $10 more expensive than the top-end version of Parallels. But this does cut the pricing roughly in half. Now I need to chew this over.
