Im a little scared of the yes/no #voice vote.
Bit of déjà vu.

As a Brit-Aussie it feels a little bit like the 2016 Brexit vote run on simple leave/stay binary. The layers of complexity didn't emerge for the LeaveEU crowd till it was too late.

And Brexit it turned out was being pushed by the Hard Right with a clear agenda of their own. And i think that is more than a smidge of undercurrent of RW venom and manipulation with Voice here.

I hate to think what will become of many First Nations communities if Voice fails.
They are already suffering and maintaining the status quo, doing nothing, more of the same, is not an acceptable outcome.
