This morning, 9 #Russian Tu-95ms strategic #bombers headed from #Engels towards #Volgodonsk.

Having reached the #Caspian region, from where they usually launch missiles over #Ukraine, the planes turned back without launching.

It was probably a training flight, usually the #Russian strategic aviation arranges them a few days before the actual launches.

In total, more than 90 missiles were launched: about 70 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles from the north of the #CaspianSea and from the #Volgodonsk region (Rostov region), as well as about 20 #Kalibr sea-based missiles from the #BlackSea and 10 kamikaze drones.

According to preliminary data, 73 enemy cruise missiles and all 10 #kamikaze drones were destroyed by air defense.
