@Left_Indy Hah, I dislike bringing #Volhynia into this discussion, because it's a whole 'nother can of worms. On one hand, it's an inexcusable atrocity, and Ukraine absolutely should own up to that. On the other, 2nd Polish Republic did their best to antagonize Ukrainians, and that's not even mentioning centuries of history during which Polish "colonial" nobility lorded it over a subjugated population (of course, ethnic Polish peasantry a bit to the west didn't have it any better, but that's nationalism for ya :/ ) - so Poland should not approach this from our traditional martyrological point of view either.
@foresterr I'm half Polish myself and know enough about the #Ukrainian slaughter of #Poles in #Volhynia and Eastern #Galicia to know it's never a good idea to blindly accept what Ukraine has to say about anything.
That said, I don't think Mr. Mercouris is free of bias, but he does seem to be approaching the topic with much less of it than the usual analytic players have thus far expressed. Bear in mind that in war conditions change on a daily basis and nobody has the entire picture.
