🌳 On some Fridays in the warmer months, I sit beneath a walnut tree in the vineyards, where neighbors place a table and benches. There I do a weekly review, and have a “thinking day,” where I answer a set of questions I’ve devised for myself. This occasional habit has yielded some important, healthy life changes. This is the view.

🌥️ When we last visited the Bavarian Alps, we had the pleasure of staying in this farmhouse for 10 days. It was delightfully quiet, and my husband would take his banjo out back to practice (yes, there are actual Germans into bluegrass). Goats in a nearby shack would come out to listen every time.
