I VOTED! 🇳🇴 ✊🏽 First time ever to #vote in an election outside my country of birth. I hope I did it right LoL. And wow it was WAY different from what I've experienced voting in person and absentee LA and WA.

+ paper ballot voted on with ballpoint pen
+ polling place at the little library five minutes from my house (had two booths, both empty when I arrived)
+ clear instructions and nice people

- you vote on a ballot that lists all the candidates for a particular party, so you select the one(s) you want from that party and WRITE IN THE OTHERS FROM OTHER PARTIES ... What?!

So this really privileges straight ticket voting, and makes it harder to spread your votes to other parties. Interesting. I did spread my votes among two parties but it was a bit surprising how it worked. The demo video that I watched online failed to mention that you need to first choose your *party's* ballot. Wow.
