UK economy in growth ‘doom loop’ after decades of underinvestment

The governments led by Blair, Brown, Cameron (and Clegg!), May, Johnson and Sunak are all implicated in this downward spiral. With Starmer harking back to the Blair/Brown days there's little prospect of things improving either. In fact, the IPPR explicitly calls out the opportunity in green technology but Labour have scaled back promises around green investment already.
