So I just updated the live beta version of Crystalline Bliss. I added a few new mechanics, the unlockable levels (and ways to unlock them), and in game manual complete with pictures to go over the new more complex game mechanics.
I added a new mechanic called "effects". Effects are obtained by popping jade crystals. Effects can change aspects of the crystals sets such as making them fall faster, become biggger, or change the types of crystals.

Yesterday's livestream was rather therapeutic. I took on a woodland mansion with great success! Now I need to figure out how to get rid of the two evokers I have locked up. After that the whole mansion is mine! So I'll be doing a long stream today. Probably around 10AM EST. This brand new world hasn't been explored, and already I'm a Baroness. MWAHAHA. Ether Ocean level from Crystalline Bliss. The game will be live on Steam next month. Like everyone else I have to wait 30 days before anything can be visible.
The game will continue to grow and evolve though once its out. I am looking forward to adding as many cool levels as I can.

Back in the 2000s I wanted to push precious 8-bit childhood nostalgia to an extra dimension.

As there were no dedicated voxel editors yet, I made the works by extruding quad polygons in 3ds Max.
