Honestly, to my mind, the term 'DSD' meaning "differences of sexual development" is a redundant nonsense term.

The concept of 'sex' itself already supposedly describes differences in development (between male and female), so the term 'DSD' doesn't actually differentiate intersex conditions from non-intersex conditions!

VSD - variations of sexual development, is a slightly better term imo. Still a bit redundant but less pathologising than DSD.
