Ich bin kein #Devop, aber versuche mich aktuell mal an der Absicherung eines #vServers, den ich für #VPN nutzen möchte.

Macht das Sinn?:

1. UFW (Uncomplicated Firewall)
* neuer User anlegen, root deaktivieren bzw. 2FA
* nur per ssh-keys einloggen
* login per username/pw deaktivieren
* 2FA (noch unentschieden)
2. Docker
3. Wireguard
4. Nginx Reverse Proxy
5. Fail2ban
6. Cloudflared (DNS over HTTPS)
7. unattended-upgrades
8. Portainer
9. pihole (noch nicht sicher)

I need help from the #selfhosting bubble. Maybe one of you already got @pixelfed working correctly.

I have installed #Pixelfed on various #vServers with different operating systems (debian and ubuntu | ok, the same family) and also in the form of a #Docker container over the past 14 days.

No matter which way I tried, I ended up with a working instance, which however does not federate correctly. I can't get the following error fixed in the diagnostics:

ACTIVITYPUB instance actor cached: ❌ false

If anyone here has any ideas, please, please let me know. I'm getting desperate at this point.

PS: On the internet, the error shows up on various sites and not ONE offers a solution. The threads all run to nowhere at some point.
