Bramble was a prickly soul
Creepers with
Tangles of leaf and thorn
Blocked your way
But in time he gave
Sweet succulent fruits
Once gone would leave
Stains on your
Your fingers and lips
A lingering taste
A reminder of
Rewards requiring
Courage and patience
