I think that test of the #Celeste #VTuber mod went really really well. There was on glitch where it stopped responding to wind, but that was because of the node graphs in #VNyan, not because of my code. The mod sent everything perfectly and didn't crash once. Couldn't ask for more really.

I really wish VNyan didn't do toggles, and would just let me directly set everything (and that wind supported setting by parameter) it would make this much easier!

Today's addition to my #Celeste #VTuber mod is mainly a QOL feature for viewers.

I've figured out how to calculate Madeline's on-screen co-ordinates (basically player overall co-ordinates - camera co-ordinates, and from that, determine when to move my VTuber out of shot so I'm not blocking visibility of the game!

Crap video preview but...

My #Celeste #VTuber mod now supports sending hair colour information and death/respawn information to #VNyan, which you can do whatever you like with using node graphs.

I need to do a bit more work on the hair texture, and also build a blendshape for when I have two dashes, but happy with this proof of concept.

Hopefully will debut it properly on my regular Monday Celeste stream

Got my #Celeste mod to poll the wind parameter and send it to #VNyan working reliably. Main problem is that wind is a toggle in VNyan, and no way to set the speed with parameters, so I've had to drop to just direction on or off for now, and make a feature request.

Even so my #VTuber looks bloody good with this mod!
