CW: Canine skull with an implied bullet wound
An older piece from 2020 that's still a favorite of mine. The skull study was completed in straight pen (I'm not super fond of pencils if I can get around them) and colored digitally. This particular found skull always felt like he had a morbid sense of humor and was about to make an observation you may not like.

When I was younger I used to take some photos of my bone collection. I wrote stories and facts about my collection in my nature blog, but I stopped long ago. It needs so much time to take all the photos and to write the text in a different language.
I really like how this photo came out. It's the skeleton of a buzzard, a road kill. A friend cleaned the bones and a taxidermist put all back together.
