A court arrested Former Deputy Defense Minister #VyacheslavShapovalov for 60 days, and set bail at Hr 402.6 million ($10.96 million), Ukrainska Pravda, a Ukrainian news outlet, reported citing an unnamed source.

Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigation (#DBR) suspects Shapovalov of lobbying for contracts for food for the military at inflated prices.

◾Deputy Defense Minister #VyacheslavShapovalov, who was responsible for logistics of the Armed Forces, resigned. Defense Minister #OleksiyReznikov accepted his resignation and asked the Cabinet of Ministers to dismiss #Shapovalov.

◾The deputy head of the Presidential Office, ÷KyryloTymoshenko, has written a letter of resignation.

◾In addition, the heads of the military-civilian administrations of #Sumy, #Dnipro, #Zaporizhzhia and #Kherson regions will resign.
