Every third Thursday of May, International Ukrainian Vyshyvanka Day is celebrated.

On this day, Ukrainians and people worldwide salute ethnic embroidered Ukrainian clothes — Vyshyvanka. I was fortunate to receive mine as a gift from my team in Ukraine a number of years ago. Today it takes on new meaning as a symbol of Ukraine’s resistance and freedom in the world.
