The refereeing has been "abstract" to say the least.
It's like he's got $20 on the Under.
Waikato turned down a shot in front of goal about 5 minutes ago. That should have paid off as they crossed the line but that was disallowed for reasons I'm struggling to understand.
The Naki eventually opens the scoring after almost half an hour.

The Waikato back just dropped the ball before he dotted down for no try.
Southland now has a goal line drop out.
Justin Marshall says this is good for Waikato and gives no benefit to Southland even though Waikato has done all the offending. I totally agree with him.
If there was an option to Southland I'd take a scrum 5 and at least be able to clear my lines.
