@atomicpoet @kissane Seems like a lot of unnecessary handwringing AT THE PRESENT.

Let Mastodon work to become its best self at the moment, while BlueSky works on becoming its best self. When BlueSky turns on federation and ceases being a shinier Truth Social, we can do an honest comparison between the two (currently) different systems.

Maybe BlueSky will teach Mastodon some lessons that can be used to improve onboarding, and Mastodon can teach BS how to federate better.

L'OST sort le 1er mars, je pense que je vais craquer dessus parce qu'entre les nouveaux thèmes et les reprises de certaines thèmes du 1, il y a de très belles pépites...

Seul regret (mais peut-être que ça va s'activer une fois que j'aurai récupéré tous les personnages) : à priori ils ont supprimé -par rapport au 1- les 'tites scénettes et dialogues entre les membres de l'équipe que l'on pouvait activer dès qu'on visitait une taverne et qui étaient nombreuses...C'était drôle, bien écrit et ça permettait de s'attacher aux différents personnages :blob_heart_eyes:​

As much as I have enjoyed playing #Overwatch ABK just aren’t shaking things up enough, quick enough. Game still feels stagnant. Changes are never proactive only reacting weeks late. Playing #CallofDuty DMZ is far more interesting lately. Makes going into Overwatch harder to do. #WaitAndSee

En un escenari de poca immunitat, amb bosses importants de NO immunitat (#Xina), què pot seleccionar-se abans, una #variant #SARSCoV2 més transmissible, o una q confereixi escapament a la resposta immune? Molts més números té la 1era que no la 2ona. I això, en principi no seria un mal output per a tot plegat. El #fitness d'una variant a CAT i a Xina poden ser (són) completament diferents.

@nileane Le gros avantage de Twitter et donc d'y rester - ne serait-ce qu'en mode passager - c'est qu'il est l'endroit qui vient spontanément à l'esprit quand on veut documenter un combat, une lutte et/ou qu'on veut dénoncer une injustice car c'est là que se trouvent les médias et les politiques que n'importe quelle minorité dans le monde avec un minimum de moyen de communication peut interpeller directement.
Mastodon pourrait jouer ce rôle un jour #WaitAndSee

I come across interesting people on Mastodon but they are not posting anything so I won't follow them. The #WaitAndSee what happens with twitter people. I like Mastodon. I find it easy to use.

I am just in listening mode but FWIW some of the public health policies in Australia were stringent to an extreme - worse than Canada, US and UK.

Not as bad as CCP/PRC with the terrible #zerocovid.

Given the extreme situation in China, people who are hard core anti- #covid #vaccine should not be treated like crazies. (Not saying you do of course).

Mutual respect is not a characteristic of the USA (and EU) arguments over covid. The Canadian trucker convoy was pretty feisty but they never stormed Parliament or broke into MP's homes.

So overall, whatever folks have to say in answer to your question, I would be inclined to give Australians credit for putting up with some onerous public health policies.

As for the radical patriotism, I don't really know how that question will be addressed. All around the world nationalism is getting pretty jacked up but it seems that the pendulum is maybe swinging the other way down under. #waitandsee
