Better than commuting with any #EcoHipster #BEV #car or even #PublicTransport are #WalkableNeighbourhoods and shortest-possible commute, as @notjustbikes pointed it out several times.

Now granted, nor every job can have that: Even if legal people won't live inside a chemical plant - but for most #retail and #services jobs that should not be the issue.

People should be paid enough to afford close-by & good housing & housing should be affordable for even part-time workers.
