Took advantage of the lack of rain this morning for a pleasant ascent of #CorryhabbieHill in #Moray
Great views of Ben Rinnes and the surrounding countryside and a welcome relief to being stuck at home for the last couple of weekends due to the poor weather ☔️ ! #corbetts #walkhighlands #visitmoray

We weren't the only ones to head high for the evening light. This stag - its magnificent antlers covered in thick velvet catching the sun - seemed to be enjoying the endless vistas too.
Taken near the summit of Lochnagar.

Headed over to Braemar last night for an overnighter in my #tentbox to allow for an early start today; 42km covered in eight and a half hours taking in two #munros. First up was Càrn an Fidhleir; had a dotterel keep me company for a few km as well! #munrobagging #walkhighlands

One of our new Galloway routes, this excellent walk at St John's Town of Dalry celebrates the late Donald Watson, a renowned bird artist who lived here.

Craig Aire Fell summit on the Southern Upland Way today. It’s an out of the way spot!

Arriving in Annan on the Annandale Way in the glorious sunshine today. We’re working on updates across many of our Dumfries and Galloway routes at the moment.
Just a quick trip to Sutherland to climb Ben Hope this morning.

Fabulous view from a fabulous hill - on Beinn Bhan in Applecross today.
At one of the Cairngorms lesser known forest lochs today - Loch a' Chnuic. Wonder how many can locate that without checking on a map....
An idyllic wee kayak near Arisaig to prove that our arms have not become vestigial appendages.
The Skye Cuillin, from the mainland this evening.
I’d rather be here than anywhere else today…
Today I’ve mostly had Eigg in my face.
This is not a bad thing.

A lovely view from Alva Glen, once the short climb out of the gorge is complete. Although it was a hazy day you can see all the way to the winding #forth in the distance beyond the plains and Alloa.
A super little walk, easy parking, sculpture trail and informative boards about the heritage of the area.... more details here
