And for #Today? Well, we damn well better be getting our new car! And I got roped into some kind of weird #cat rescue - someone getting evicted is selling their cat to our rescue group, so I get to play the middleman. It is also our regular date night. We are nothing if not creatures of habit. Not sure where we'll end up. And it looks like a good day for #walkies.

Stunning colours (the faintest hint of a rainbow 🌈) up on the Clauchlands hills this morning with my Nuis. 🐕 Can't really decide if my favourite time of year is autumn, winter or spring, but it isn't summer, that's for sure. This summer has been pish anyway, and I missed the heatwave while I was catching dysentery in rainy Switzerland. I'm loving the turning of the seasons. Can really feel it now!

Seems the big ole sweet Tyrnn had to take a lil stroll over a lil ole planet, gotta make sure he stays on leash, last time he ate the whole galaxy. Well this little rock should suffice, small and crunchy terrain, good for the dragon to stretch his massive feetsies.

I saw this kingfisher a number of times today, well hidden in the branches of the gum tree.

#Today I want to get the dogs out for #walkies this morning. I was thinking of taking them out yesterday at lunch time but it was 97ºF / 36.1ºC and for all our sakes I decided to pass. Obi did alright at the vets although, despite the anti-nausea medicine, he threw up in the car on the way home. My mistake. I should not have fed him in the morning. Although how I'm going to feed one #dog and not the other is a bit of a mystery.

So yeah, I didn't spend much time in the #saltmine yesterday. I took a long "lunch" for golf, then #walkies, then pick up duties. I did spend enough time to get extremely frustrated with the #flutter dev environment. It just isn't mature enough for "real" desktop development, in my humble opinion. I mean, you have to run batch files(!) to build the client - how obsolete is that, anyway? And it is worse than #JavaScript pulling in rando libraries from all over the web to get anything done.
