I'm an academic living in Western Australia ( to be more specific).

I've voted Green all my life bar one election when I voted Labor (never again).

I worry multiple times a day about the climate crisis and feel helpless.

I am still mad that we didn't get a progressive minority govt last election, but have hope for the next one.

I love travelling and listening to music ( are my fave).

I'm pissed about AI developers stealing from artists.

The poem "Gino's" from Jack Davis' poetry anthology "Black Life"

Incredible that Jack Davis wrote this over 30 years ago in 1992. This sounds like Freo right now! Except there's no more Hungry Jacks and the last time I visited Timezone Freo, it was kinda sad. It reminded me of the subreddit Liminal Space. But otherwise, sounds like it hasn't changed all that much.
