@ccferrie SUV drivers are sending a few messages - “I want you to see that I can afford this, and I don’t care about others or the environment”. “Get out of my way, little people”. Plus, frequently, “this is far too big for me to park”.

@breadandcircuses A big (huge, bulky, heavy) part of the problem is that so many EVs are oversized. The fetish for #wankpanzers means people are choosing to drive something that uses double the resources to manufacture and operate.

The solutions are obvious: regulate vehicle sizes with penalties for gross weight, and encourage car sharing.
