There is a lot of quite interesting #art on the servers of the #militaryhistory museums. Not just by the officially appointed #warartists, but also by (more or less, I am no judge of this) talented amateurs. One painting that has always fascinated me is this by Brigadier Davy, painted in 1973, reliving his desert experience.
