Was working on #Warcry Questor Soulsworn and got bored (Stormcast have too many capes, people), so I started painting #WarhammerUnderworlds Dreipur’s Wraithcreepers and The Headsmen’s Curse and got bored (seriously fuck these over involved scenic bases), so I painted some Ogre warband animals (frostsabre, parrot, monkey).

Now I’m working my way back down the stack back to the Soulsworn.

Almost a week! I think I've basecoated the whole miniature now, I still have a lot of mistakes to fix, then do the washes, except for the skin. I already did the skin, trying to only put the washes in the crevices, and where the skin gets covered by something else, but I'm not very happy with the result, I might just redo it as well.

Even less progress than yesterday, but I did re-prime the rest of Gryselle's warband, fixed a couple of issues that were pointed out to me on Gryselle herself, and tried to fix some mistakes on the wytch self, then made more mistakes and had to fix those, then made more. Also I tried eyes. 4 times. And they're still wrong.

Not much progress. I had hoped to continue Gryselle's warband, but their priming needs to be redone, so I started on one of my wytch selves. Or murderer of some sort, I have a hard time remembering their job names.

Narrative "NPC" idea:

Giant monster slug (or robot) that wanders around the battlefield leaving a slime/acid/lava/detritus trail that blocks/slows/hurts models that try to cross it.

Scale for 40k, AoS, Warcry, KT Necromunda, etc.

Or invert it (thinking especially for a dense Necromunda table) and have a creature that bores/eats/knocks down terrain to make pathways that didn't previously exist.
