Had to kill some time before our dinner reservations, so I asked my kid what they wanted to do and they asked if we could go #wardriving.

I wanted to build a website to have fun with and specifically list my "hacker" projects (#wardriving, etc) so I bought the domain https://hydrox.fun.

Then a little voice in my head said: "Don't build a website! That's lame. Build an SSH application with your own set of commands to display the info instead!"

So I did that instead and the website just tells you how to connect.

Is this dumb? Yes.
Is this pointless? You bet!
Was it fun? Totally.

I mentor through a cyber security bootcamp. Students are paired with mentors like me to help them pass the Security+ and get through their coursework and projects. Currently I have 5 mentees! Each one of them are unique, and I'm also incredibly proud of the mentees that have graduated!

I work at @BishopFox and am incredibly proud of my coworkers and friends. I tell everyone I'm happy like day 1, and I've been there a lil over a year. I'm a solutions architect with the privilege of being able to continue researching and get support doing it. It's why I'm able to speak at @cactuscon this Saturday! I love submitting CFPs and speaking at conferences, and Bishop Fox supports my professional development and hacking. Woo! The bulk of my job is to help with pre-sales, technical assistance, and scoping pentests. Someone has to determine the approach and time.
