Watched a video about #minimalism and #wardrobe today. I have rejected "get rid of the things you haven't worn for a year" advice years ago, and keep all the loved and good garments that don't fit only because of their size. This way I have something to wear regardless of my current size, which changes often enough.
Excited to wear these capris again, just look at all these pockets! Proper cargo pocket is rarely found in sewing patterns too, so I may do some shameless copying. #sewing #selfie

🎬 #BrianDePalma's "The Black Dahlia" (2006) is in rotation @ Starz. I've watched bits of it a few times. The #movie based upon the 1987 #JamesEllroy #novel, adapted for the screen by Ellroy and #JoshFriedman.
The sexism (true to the film's late-40s setting) and violence were too much for me, but I enjoyed #ScarlettJohansson and #HilarySwank's performances. And #JoshHartnett and #AaronEckhart make a cute couple.

Slightly slower day today. Bit achey from carpet fitting but... Never fear, I did some stuff.
Aimée's away, part three - repainted the walk-in wardrobe, fitted a different sort of carpet and some shelves in there and, if you remember the sad little flap of bedroom carpet that stuck up over the threshold - I've only gone and fitted and threshold strip. First time I've ever got one right. Broke a coping saw but it fits!
