I'll get better pictures when I can, but the #Tzeentch #ChaosKnight is fresh in from varnishing and is ready for the tabletop! I'll still need to come up with some lore/headcanon for this one, but I'm very happy with how the experiments came out on it!

#HobbyStreak - My #Tzeentch Knight Despoiler progress continues. The farther along this project gets the more and more I enjoy it. I originally thought the head was a bit too much but it adds that perfect bit of over-the-top nature #Chaos leans into. I have some wings I might add as well, but first: finish the leg armor.

I knew #ChaosKnight War Dogs were in short supply (out of stock through GW), but I did not realize how bad it was! $105US for one War Dog out of a kit of two that retails for $90US?!? No thanks, I'll just wait.
PS - if anyone knows where I can get a box without costing an arm & a leg...

#HobbyStreak - it was nice enough this weekend that I could prime. So the #Tzeentch #ChaosKnight has made it to the painting table!
What I enjoy about painting knights is how easy it is to get a good looking underframe with just some dry brushing. I'm also using sponging of Contrast paints for the big armor panels to get a nice weathered effect. I'll post some WiPs later.

I now know the insidious call of #Chaos. It gets you by making you wonder "what deamons can I soup into this list?"
So I've spent the past few hours planning out a small #ChaosDeamons force to tag-along with the Knights. I've heard #Tzeentch flamers are good. Pink Horrors seem to be a fantastic tar pit. Are #Khorne deamons in a good place?
... and the #OnePageRules #3dPrinting files are on sale... I'm doomed.

#ChaosKnights are facing down the Aeldari tomorrow for their first Crusade match of 10th Edition. I previously played a match as Deathwatch, but I'm not feeling Marines this edition. I'm stealing all your luck to wage war as the Court of the Mortive Expanse go on the hunt for some soulstones. A Rampager and 4 War Dogs; this'll be interesting.

#HobbyStreak - picture quality isn't the best, but snapping a photo before I forget. The #ChaosKnight War Dog pack is painted and ready for war. Two Karnivores, a Brigand, and a Stalker to lead them. Excited to see how they do. I have a few more touch-up steps I can do, like verdigris on the bronze, and adding blood splatter to the melee weapons but I'd be happy to put them on a table!

#HobbyStreak - Two things! Finally had a day to sit down and just paint for hours, so the #ChaosKnight War Dog pack is done sans nameplates: pictures tomorrow? Secondly - I was unsold on the cabochons for the #Tzeentch knight but sculpting on eyelids makes them 500% creepier; they're staying and what have I done? I may have damned us all...

#hobbystreak - I've begun color blocking on the Ballistus. For as bulky a model as it is, there's quite a few details scattered around. Also, the promo shots from GW for this model do not do it justice, it's much less static than they made it appear if you do even a little bit of joint swiveling. I obviously did more than that but even just a tilt of the arms does wonders.

Finished listening to the latest #DawnOfFire book, The Martyr's Tomb, and I think this might be the first book in the series that's let the Imperium win? No real caveats either. Not the best in the series, but it was nice to shine a light on the Adeptus Sororitas again and after the absolute jobbing the Custodes did in Iron Kingdom they did a banger of a job this time. Anyone else had time to read or listen to it yet?

#hobbystreak - been thinking a lot about #ChaosKnights today. I'm debating running them in Crusade. Talking with a friend/co-worker and he thinks it shouldn't be a problem as long as I warn people. I feel that's a fair take, and it gets us away from being little more than Horus Heresy 40k edition with all Space Marines in the Crusade lists. What do you all think?
