Begin jaren 80 was ik even in een huis in #zwitserland, dat lag in een ski-gebied. Dat huis had een slim #elektrisch #verwarmingssysteem. De nachtstroom (lager tarief) werd opgeslagen en overdag gebruikt om het huis te verwarmen.

Nu ben ik geen techneut, dus vraag ik me nog steeds af hoe ze dat toen al in #zwitserland konden.

Mijn ouders hadden in 1957 een huis gekocht en kochten ook een #Boiler voor de #warmwater voorziening in hun huis. Daar....(2)

Bret becomes a tropical storm, forecast is 'low confidence.' :

Meteorologists at the National Hurricane Center said there’s a lot of uncertainty in computer forecast models, but they advised people in Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and nearby islands to monitor Bret closely.

This is about the time of year I start longing for warmer weather--not hot, just warm. By July I'll be miserable with the heat, humidity and mosquitos, but April-June is perfect.

In the meantime, I'll leave with with some memories of mine: flying over the Bahamas and the ocean seen from the Florida Keys
