The Battle of Crysler's Farm (Nov 11, 1813) was a British/Canadian victory in the War of 1812 that ended the American St Lawrence campaign. The US suffered 102 killed, and Major General James Wilkinson was relieved from duty and court martialed. Later, it was found he was a double agent for Spain.

Following the surrender, US troops burned and looted York, which the British repaid one year later with the burning of Washington. The parliamentary mace of Upper Canada was also stolen - later returned by FDR in 1934.
