Yeah I get that, but it seems that the risk the influencers take by lending their credence to a social media platform whose entire purpose it to wage a #WarOnTruth will turn out to be a net-negative in the long run perhaps.

Anyways, I don't think that the risk is worth the larger audience. Greta's got a big audience, but her influence isn't enhanced by trolls making her name trend on Twitter monthly with some kind of climate science denial trope or such

I doubt there are a dozen adults that helped advance the youth climate movement more than did I, but I never for a second thought that leftist adults would cede to the uneducated and inexperienced our role of promoting workable and feasible #ClimateSolutions within the boundary conditions of our realpolitik.

It's so hard to get the kind of unified efforts we need in order to win this #WarOnTruth we find ourselves in against conservatives.

This type of messaging doesn't help imo anyways.

I'm more depressed today with the state of our media landscape than ever before in my life I reckon.

Twitter's purchase by anti-democratic forces and media's response to it drives this increased concern more than even does the coverage of the orange fascist.

I mean lumping @NPR (2% of funding comes from taxpayers) in the same category as TASS while they don't even do that for @w7voa nor the @BBCWorld clearly demonstrates their bias in the #WarOnTruth we're engaged in anyways imo.

They're able to monitor in real time and precision as you say, "what systems wake up, stay dormant, or evolve to cope with her and it gives them insights that aren't reported" along with the MSM media tie in to frame the story.

The thing is though it seems to me is that based on my assumption that the oligarchs bought Twitter in order to suppress accurate information being able to counter the lies they are pushing, making the legacy blue check marks lose their verified markers value by handing them out to anyone willing to buy them should work quite well imo.

#FauxNews has done quite an "amazing" job in their #WarOnTruth, especially regarding climate and vaccines. Now that vaccine boosters are going to cost over a hundred bucks I don't reckon we'll be able to get even 10% to take them now sadly.
