The two B-1B machines were approaching the Russian border, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow said in the Telegram online service. "After the withdrawal of the foreign warplanes from the Russian border, the Russian #warplane has returned to its base," it said. The Russian plane flew in "strict compliance with international #airspace rules," the ministry added.

Women seen fitting out the fuselage of a DH Mosquito. It is safe to say that without a strong effort by the female workforce of Great Britain, Canada and Australia, the De Havilland Mosquito would not have become the war-winning aircraft that it did. Women undertook highly skilled work in the manufacturing sector, maintained the aircraft wearing uniform, and delivered the planes to the frontline in Europe, as members of the Air Transport Auxiliary. The Airco DH.9 (designed by Geoffrey de Havilland) was a basically good design, spoilt by a poor engine.
