#Russia's attacks on #Ukraine's cities seems senseless violence, but by doing this, Russia forces Ukraine to keep air defences around the cities that they really need at the front. It is thus not only a #WarCrime, but it is also an effective #warstrategy. Countries that want to uphold civilisation / the rule of law here (i.e. do not invade another country to eradicate it) should react by massively adding even more air defence to Ukraine, so that at least the crime does not pay.

#Challenger1 : Is this the Tank Ukraine really needs? Why is #NATO not offering to purchase some 200-400 recently retired Challenger 1 tanks from the Kingdom of #Jordan, with all the spare parts that will come with them, and supply those to #Ukraine, avoiding the logistics mess?
It would be far more cost-effective. This was the point of a recent comment in The Telegraph. #WarStrategy
