I should have just done this four months ago instead of waiting for him to do it. I 've never replaced a facet but that's never stopped me before. Back when I did building maintenance we just ground the valve even and replaced the washers. Now everything is replaced when it breaks. Good for capitalism. Bad for everyone and everything else. #wasteful

The composition of a Bitcoin network's payment record (blockchain) is ultimately determined by those who continually direct the most (otherwise pointless) computing power toward a new block of transactions seeking legitimacy. This is called "proof-of-work-based payment-validation consensus". A large #cabal of computer processing aggregation can, in theory, dishonestly manipulate the payment history of Bitcoin. Bitcoin enthusiasts argue that greed itself prevents such a cabal from hijacking the entire ecosystem, due to fear of completely destroying the Bitcoin price. The enthusiasts have so far been correct about this.

We really should just all make our own cards, if we choose to give them as gifts.

We get a lot of these #advertising magnets in our apartment building. Barely thick enough to keep a single sheet of paper anchored to the fridge, this particular van-shaped iteration touts plumbing services.
But very few residents keep them, so I’m afraid they most likely end up in a landfill.
I hope someone calls that toll-free number and tells the van to come by and pick up their garbage. #wasteful
