Startup #Blastr from 🇳🇴 wants to build €4bn #GreenSteel plant (2,5 Mt/a)in #Inkoo, 🇫🇮, where availability of #windPower for H2 is better than in 🇳🇴.

Analysts are sceptical, who will finance it? Blastr is only worth 430k€. For government this announcement comes conveniently just before elections.

The site had a coal power plant, so good transmission grid exists.

The plant uses 6 TWh power per year so #WasteHeat could cover entire #Helsinki heat demand if it were closer.

Jak vypadá schéma využití odpadního tepla datacentra SPOJE.NET (ano, jak o nás byl ten článek Rootu). V provozujeme už skoro 7 let, z čehož většinu času k využití odpadního tepla dochází.

Schéma ale není moc názorné.

Není na něm nakreslený zásobník pro předehřev vody 15 domácnostem, což je prostě druhý paralelní "spotřebič" pověšený na hlavním zásobníku. Je tam pouze uvedené rozpětí teplot v něm.

EcoEl je pak název kotle u mě v bytě, který řeší nejen teplou vodu, ale i vytápění.
