Outpost
Oftentimes, the Lord positions us on the outpost - being disconnected from the rest of the body - holding ground. It’s not because we’ve done something wrong, but usually to build us and teach us in those places of solidarity.
Over time, holding the outpost can bring feelings of discouragement, fatigue and loneliness. However, know that God has stationed you there for a season to endure and be a watchman.
Hold steady, as you never know the impact you are making. In due season the harvest will come from the seeds you planted in that place.
“For thus has the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees.” (Isaiah 21:6)
