Remember these? We haven't seen a quartz Alpinist (unless they snuck some by me) in a number of years, nor have we seen recent watches with the cool 8F56 (perpetual calendar, high accuracy; some fiddling at battery change time to set the calendar) movement.

Really, quartz perpetual calendars seem to have fallen out of favor at Seiko, and I don't think we've ever seen one from GS. Why is that?

This is an homage to a well known watch design, it is produced by Maranez and has a Seiko NH35 ticking inside. The watch case and bracelet are made from titanium. Maranez Samui Army off-white.
