I am not sure but I think, yes... the paint I used for the flowers must be cobalt violet light by Sennelier gouache. I ordered a few tubes to test the brand, and I gotta say, I like them! I can show you another time which colors I chose.

A few weeks later, after having survived a very severe , I found her care package at my neighbour's house. I was so glad, ordered pizza. It was such a deep schizophrenic experience. After that, I went shopping, yes.... Still remember this. I gifted my mom all these paintings from the session in return.

One and a half years ago, before I discovered watercolors, I played around with gouache and created this stack of paintings within just three days, yes. I texted my mom: "I am a real artist now, I am ready for the complete Holbein gouache set, ". She spoiled me though I chose other paints. I was 36 years old.

I love the way watercolor and gouache mix and show different kind of behaviour on different kinds of . This is painted on a very velvet-like which I got for about 15 bucks for 50 sheets. It is not so perfect for watercolor, but awesome with gouache. Gifted this one to a friend.
