Just bought a 7x10 mixed media wire bound pad. This was before I found the 7x10 mixed media pad I thought was 5x8.

Welp.

My goldfaber aqua pencils and I will be busy.

I'm definitely a beginner, but I'm going to channel my younger self who'd flip OUT if my warm colors got mixed with the cool colors in my marker pack.

I am still learning how to get a good "edge" using just watercolor, so using watercolor pencil helps me create an outline for me that I can soften as needed. Drawing is more of my comfort zone, but using just watercolor has been an interesting challenge for me.

Wedding invitation suite I designed and created for one of my dear friends. I made watercolor paintings of the venue site which images I then printed on the invitation cards. I framed and gave her the original watercolor.

I create this while attending our service at the Spinoza Havurah in a service on theme of transgender graditude.

I'm calling this one מַעֲבָר (ma'avar) which means transition, as a kind of visual meditation on the courageous work of transgender folks in their many transitions, and of course all transitions that humans go through.

For Day 8

I did an envelope exchange a few years back and had so much fun decorating envelopes. I made the envelope on top first, but I ended up sending the bottom one. I outlined with watercolor pencil and accented with metallic gold watercolor and black gloss gel pen.
