Long story short: #Waterfox is no more longer owned by System1.

That is one of the hugest reasons why did I started to use Waterfox.

@stux I use @Vivaldi too, but instead of #Firefox ( by @mozilla ) I prefer to use #Librewolf (https://librewolf.net) and #Waterfox (https://waterfox.net). Right now I use Waterfox more then any of those browsers.

I'm in #Waterfox right now and the experience is VERY great!

Quite proud of myself that I finally figured out how to install it.

testing out some #browsers and right now i think I'm set with #Waterfox. It's the same Firefox experience but faster.

Tried #opera too, but first of all it's just a Chromium thing now, and I always found Opera's kitchen sink approach a bit overwhelming. It doesn't even come with a built-in P2P file sharing system anymore so it's not as fun.

I just discovered that #Waterfox is not bound anymore to #System1 (the same ad company behind #startpage) and that is independent again. This is good news for those who were afraid about the future of this privacy oriented #Firefox fork and for those like me that are using it as a daily driver because it's a better version of the Firefox #browser ...with global menu support (YAY!). Ok, I'm switching to #Waterfox as my default #browser on my #Ubuntu #MATE desktop at work. Why? It's basically #Firefox, but it still features global menus and that is a killer feature for my tweaked mate desktop with global menus enabled! So far I was using #Brave on this machine, but as a (mostly) loyal firefox user, it's nice to have Firefox sync enabled, the same UI and the same extensions. Very satisfied so far! #Linux #shenanigans
