Well, I wasn't expecting *that* ending to the first episode of series 11 of #waterlooroad

Oh god, first ep of the new #WaterlooRoad has already got me weeping.

I'm too old and sentimental for this shit.

Why does it get easier to cry the older you get?

When the BBC announced it was relaunching #WaterlooRoad I was dubious on two counts — the patronising view that people from The North really want a show about a school in Rochdale, and because the original really should have ended when Miss Mason left, because it was starting to recycle it’s own storylines.

But on the basis of the first episode of the reboot it shows more promise than I expected.

It’s too early to say which child will be the first to give birth in the bogs, though

I’ll be watching this. My son has been a part of it.
He’s had such a good time filming. Can’t wait to catch glimpses of him as the series progresses.
