Have now had 5 pairs of expensive reputable brand items, some shoes, some trail runners, some actual boots, all with GTX liners. 2 had already failed when I got them, the others remained waterproof for between a few weeks and 6 months. All failed prematurely. Used on unchallenging terrain, about 12k a day on average. Hopeless. Is it me ? #GoreTex, #waterproofing #walking #boots

Oh and which phones are getting smaller? Over past several years all the thin #phones are designed to be so large they scarcely fit in a #pocket, slip out, and break, or bend.
