These birds are in the honeyeater family. The species are endemic to Australia.
One pic shows it’s beak open… maybe a little tired?? 😂🥱
Nar, it was calling out in a shrill, but soft chirp kinda sound.

A Hawaiian Cuckoo hanging around the past few days. Looking for a nest to lay her eggs I’m guessing. @Cheeseness That #wattlebird is beautiful. I'd never heard of it before. Looks like these birds are mostly found on the Australian continent.
In Europe we have some pretty thrushes with similar features (judging by your photo) though.
