I still love my new #Wavestate but the honeymoon is over. There is no way I can see (and I've looked *hard*) to show all the modulation on an existing performance. So even the stock performances and programs I love are probably unusable; I need to know how to control them, and I can't even begin to know that without hours of work for each … and luck.

The companion app helps … but only a little.

So: the work begins. I make my own performances and document as I go. Time to see what I'm made of.

Korg have just dropped three new versions of the Wavestate. The mkiii, SE, and SE Platinumn.

The original was already my gassiest synth to GAS over.

#VocalDrone work yesterday was so much fun!

Studio pal is doing cool things already with it. Had no idea what it might sound like.

Left #Wavestate for him to borrow. He is much faster with some things than I am and I want to let him build some 4-voice rompling presets.. he was very eager to do it, so why not? I finally customized a patch I was writing with, and let him go nuts.

He used my voice to make "ah" tones in a chromatic scale. #Kontakt to make #DroneInstruments with the samples.
