Good presentations at Water and Wash Futures 2023 #WaWF2023 about collecting data to inform climate change adaptation in water sector of many countries that are needed now, never mind what will be needed under 2,3 or 4 degrees expected due to the inaction of governments and continued approval of more fossil fuels inc in Australia (who are responsible for 5% of world emissions and continuing to expand oil, coal and gas even under Labor governments)

I’m at the Water and Wash Futures conference #WaWF2023 (on the other site) Good to see minister Pat Conroy’s speech and his support of #SDG6. I found it interesting to put it in context. Australia’s Aid budget is around $5b. I wonder how much more security we’d get if we cancelled even one of the $10b submarines the same minister was talking about last week and tripled the aid budget! #water
