Props to the neighbor who asked @wutrain on #WBUR this morning why there are so many empty shops in Ashmont. Not that she can do anything about it. I know @dorchesteresq tried hard to get The Rubble Shop (as we call the never-used shop at 1943 Dot Ave that remained full of construction debris until, well it still might be but they just covered the windows this month) filled with an actual business when she was with GAMS.
