#WCK is using helicopters to deliver meals and drinking water to victims/survivors of the #Morocco #earthquake in areas which remain cut off / isolated.

These helicopters also bring in doctors and take people out to #Marrakesh.
Today, they evacuated 8 people ...injured, elderly & a pregnant woman.

Abdurrahman lost his home in the #earthquake & is now trying to take care of his family of 4 on his own—he is 16 years old. #WCK delivered hot meals to Abdurrahman & his community in hard-hit #Jinderes, #Syria. It's cold here and resources are running scarce. #ChefsForSyria

To reach as many impacted families as possible, #WCK teams are partnering with local restaurants able to cook for neighbors in need. Yesterday, our restaurant partner Hazar delivered 7,000 hot, nourishing meals to residents—including many children—in Adıyaman. #ChefsForTürkiye

After wrapping most of our storm response in #California, #WCK focused our support on hard-hit areas. We brought hot meals for residents returning home to spoiled food or empty refrigerators in Pajaro as well as produce boxes for a community city off in Willits. #ChefsForCalifornia

While delivering meal kits to a small village in the #Kherson Oblast, the #WCK team met a young child playing in a set of ruins.

"Here I have a kitchen—here is a room with a TV and a sofa," he shared. "When I grow up, I want to be a builder to fix up houses." #ChefsForUkraine #Ukraine

It’s common for people picking up #WCK food kits in Ukraine to come by bike—some ride for 30 minutes each way for the support.

The kits are heavy, full of items including flour, rice, oil, canned meat & veggies, and tea—enough to last families between deliveries.

With roads safe to use again, the #WCK Relief Team wrapped up our latest response in Buffalo. WCK delivered 8,000+ hot, nourishing meals & hundreds of pounds of produce to homes, shelters & senior centers impacted by the winter storm that cut off access to food.
