👉 We are hiring a Project Management Officer (PMO) for our Bangalore office.

Experience required: 5+ years

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Run Project Management for the engineering team of Developers, QA, signature Development and DevOps to deliver complex projects

- Interact closely with product development to define and deliver a roadmap of multiple parallel projects in a timely manner

- Define and improve processes and metrics to increase velocity and quality of solutions, ensuring highly functional teams and success of the projects

- Balance priorities for customer escalations, issues, ad hoc tasks, and roadmap features

- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities

- Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team

- Ensure following of Scrum and Kanban rituals

Skills:

-5+ years' experience in project management with at least 2+ years in Agile methodologies

-Agile Project Management, Scrum Management, and Release Management

-Experience translating requirements into user stories with valid acceptance criteria

-Strong experience in Project Management solutions, specifically Jira and Confluence

-Background in product development and/or SaaS companies

-Experience managing and balancing maintenance, troubleshooting tickets with feature development

-Strong written and oral communication and soft skills

Good to have:

- Review the Request for Services
- Upload project profiling and scope onto the PM platform

Initiation:
- Define the scope of work and deliverables
- Liaison for project kickoff
- Set project communication
- Set team role expectations
- Build team awareness of change considerations
- Finalize and deliver Project Charter

Planning:
- Facilitate team accountability meetings
- Define escalation matrix and communication plan
- Guide/assist project lead in the assessment of stakeholder communication
- Ensure pre-req. readiness from client
- Execution
- Monitor if the project is proceeding according to the plan
- Issue identification, escalation, and resolution
- Facilitate decision making
- Deliver regular status reports, risk, issue, and decision logs
- Work with project leadership and stakeholders to amend the plan

Closeout:
- Facilitate closeout with project leadership and key stakeholders
- Ensure business requirements and project expectations outlined in the Project Charter have been met
- Provide closeout documentation, including lessons learned
- Get client signoff

Requirements:

- He/She should be IT/Computers graduate
- Holds management degree and/or equivalent experience in PMO
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- 1-3 years of experience
- Knowledge of Zoho Projects would be an advantage
