Is it not weird to be seeing storms throughout the US continent right now all moving from the southeast to the northwest?

It seems backwards from how they usually move and I don’t understand (and would like to). Rn storms are coming to my area from the southeast. That… isn’t normal. But the whole radar map looks that way, all the way into Canada?
