Thinking of my friends and generally people in #northamerica on this 24th of December who hopefully manage to fight off the cold from the #polarvortex extending south. Here in western #Germany we are currently experiencing not quite the exact opposite but unusually warm temperatures, 12.4°C at 4pm.

What a morning! We had some serious black ice this morning and it took quite a while to get all that ice from the car. The whole ground around had a thick layer of ice and I was so glad that I took my shoe spikes with me. So no slipping and falling for me! 😃👍
I waited another hour or so at work before carefully driving down the mountain.
